I have been dating this guy for almost eight months.
Before he met me, he dated a girl off and on for three years.
He told me that he wasn’t keeping in touch with his ex girlfriend. [ we will call her JESSICA ]
I would be honest with him and tell him that I have been keeping in touch with my ex.
I have never cheated on my boyfriend and I trusted my boyfriend but recently I found out that the past four months that we have been dating, he started talking to his Jessica. I caught him when Jessica messaged me on facebook and ask me if I was dating him because she was thinking of getting back with him again. This completely broke my heart because he didn’t even tell me that he got in contact with her again and was talking to her. When I talked to Jessica on the phone I found out that he took her out to dinner and that she even slept over his apartment a couple of times. They have had sex more than three times…on the same bed that me and him have had sex on. It disgusts me just thinking about this whole situation. I still have feelings for him and he wants me to give him another chance. He promised to be honest with me even when the truth makes me angry. I even had Jessica secretely three-way my ex boyfriend and try to see if he still wanted to talk to her and he refused to even talk to her for more than 30 seconds, and he even said that he realized what he did and he also even told her that she was a mistake and that it should have never happened and that he didn’t want her calling him. He even said that he loved me. {and no, he didn’t know I was on the phone} so I don’t know what to do. Should I take him back? It has been a month now and we have been really good, tryin to work things about but I have refused to take him back because I’m simply cannot chose my mind. my heart says yes but my minds says no. Jessica has been calling him last week and he even told me and put her on three way asking what she wanted. He seems to be more honest, even when it makes me mad.
I just don’t know what to do, because I feel like if he never got caught. I would have never known. And was he even thinking about me when he had sex with her? not once. not twice. but three times? and maybe more! :\ but in contrast, I feel like people make mistakes, some people can learn from their mistakes, some people can realize to appreciate what they have when they have it, because you dont know what you have till its gone.

well it is obviously a good thing you found out. I definitely think you should break up with him. he has no respect for you. and is cheating on you. he is being dishonest and endangering your health by sleeping with jessica and who knows who else. he is not worth the trouble. if he cheats now, he will cheat again especially if you let him get away with it. Most men are only sorry they got caught. imagine if you hadn’t caught him, was he actually going to just up and confess to you and ditch jessica? no he wasn’t. he’s only making a choice now because he was put in a corner. if he slept with her more than once he was planning on having this go on for as long as it was fun for him. until he got caught. break it off now before you get even further involved. There are plenty of guys who will treat you better and not cheat on you even once. there is no need to stay with one who did it 3 times.
